The Birmingham AI & Digital Health and Care Group

WHO WE ARE

Accelerating responsible innovation in health and care by connecting research, policy, and practice.

Bright, the Birmingham AI & Digital Health and Care Group, led by Professor Alastair Denniston, is a collaborative research, education and policy group focused on the evaluation, regulation and implementation of AI and digital technologies in health and care. Based at the University of Birmingham and University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, we aim to accelerate responsible innovation in health and care systems locally, nationally and globally, ensuring that technologies are safe, effective and equitable, and bring lasting benefit for everyone.
